Dwayne The Rock Johnson is one of the most established wrestlers and actors of all time and he is constantly making headlines for one reason or another these past few days.
Johnson recently became a board member of the TKO holding group, the parent company of the WWE and UFC merger. Amidst the celebrations of achieving this milestone, The Rock also made his return to WWE this Friday, and this time, the fans are not very hyped for his return but are rather disappointed in their people’s champ.
The Rock allegedly stole Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania moment
Cody Rhodes created history last month after he threw CM Punk over the top rope and became the first person in the last 26 years to win back-to-back Royal Rumble Matches. Cody Rhodes had won last year’s Royal Rumble match as well and went on to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 for the Universal Championship but unfortunately lost the match due to interference from Solo Sikoa.
After Cody Rhodes won this year’s Royal Rumble match, the fans were certain that this was definitely the year when Roman Reigns’ title reign would come to an end. However, all the fans’ hopes came crashing down at this week’s Friday night Smackdown.
The American Nightmare stood across Roman Reigns in the ring earlier this week and said that he would be coming after the title but it would not be at WrestleMania. He further revealed that he had talked about this someone who Reigns knows and then The Rock made his shocking return to WWE.
Dwayne Johnson even took to X(formerly, Twitter) to post about the moment but that did not go in his favor at all.
The WWE Universe brings back John Cena’s iconic explosive rant
No one knows what Dwayne The Rock Johnson was thinking when he decided to steal Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania moment from him but the fans certainly did not like this decision and have been speaking out it against on all social media platforms.
In light of recent happenings, fans decided to bring back John Cena’s iconic rant against The Rock when the duo engaged in a verbal argument back in 2011. Cena said, “Dwayne Johnson is a self-centered, egotistical, see-through son of a b*tch.”
