A new report from journalist Matthew Belloni of Puck has revealed the astronomical fees Johnson has charged for the project. Given the popularity of Evans’ Captain America fans must wonder if the actor received a similar paycheck. According to the report, Johnson has been paid a sum of $50 million for his involvement in the film.
Johnson’s salary for the movie is nearly double the $23.5 million fees he was paid for Netflix’s Red Notice. In comparison, Evans reportedly earned $15-20 million for his role in Netflix’s The Gray Man, starring alongside Ryan Gosling.
