It hasn’t been long since the EA FIFA series was rebranded as EA Sports FC, and Electronic Arts has already started expanding the franchise with new additions. After the record-breaking launch week of EA Sports FC 24, EA has now announced its new football game called EA Sports FC Tactical for mobile devices.
FC Tactical is a turn-based strategy title featuring “interactive simulation.” The game will have over five thousand players from all over the world and across the top ten leagues, including the Premier League, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A.
EA Sports FC Tactical Is a Turn-Based Makeover for Football
FC Tactical is the latest addition to the evolving EA Sports FC universe with the growing popularity of EA Sports FC Mobile, which was downloaded by over 2.2 million on launch day. This game shouldn’t be confused with EA Sports FC Mobile, as it was a free update for FIFA Mobile. FC Tactical is a new game with turn-based strategy gameplay.

The FC Tactical game is developed in partnership with KLab Inc., the developers behind the anime sports title Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, and brings all the aspects of FC 24 into a turn-based strategy game. Talking about the new tactical title, Shun Fujiyoshi, CEO of CGA at KLab Inc., said:
I am confident that EA SPORTS FC Tactical, the newest title in the EA SPORTS FC portfolio, will become an exciting new mobile gaming title by leveraging our collective experience in producing and developing cherished football games all over the world. The game focuses on in-game strategies like stamina and power-play management. There will be several game modes, and the matches across these modes will feature turn-based gameplay and allow players to make strategic decisions. Players will be able to make strategies for attack and defense, perform skill moves as well, and try and score goals, bringing authentic football gameplay.
Before players get into a match, they will be able to make a team of their favorite stars. These players have stats, passive abilities, and unique skills that will put them into battle with defenders and goalies. Each skill of the players will have stats, and these skills cost energy, so players will have to make sure they contain their stamina for the deciding moments of the game.

FC Tactical will bring several gameplay modes, such as Rank matches, Guilds, and Leagues. Players will be able to play friendly matches or intense competitions online. Players can train their players to get them on top of their game with skill moves and unlock perfect traits for their progression. They can also customize their team with items like kits, balls, stadium designs, and more.
FC Tactical will be available for both Android and iOS mobile devices and is targeting an early 2024 release. Players can now pre-register for the game on mobile devices across the Google Play Store and the App Store and grab amazing rewards when the game launches.
