The original Beverly Hills Cop, introduced in 1984, proved to be a cultural sensation, not only highlighting Murphy’s comedic prowess but also reshaping the landscape of action-comedy films. This success led to the creation of two sequels in 1987 and 1994.

The trailer comes two days after Netflix teased the film in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter.
