The third volume of Road to Laugh Tale centers on Devil Fruit, with Luffy grabbing the main focus. The awakening, it is made abundantly clear, is what maximizes Luffy’s powers and grants him the ability to turn imagination into reality. Although the specifics of how this occurs are unclear, Luffy possesses the bizarre ability to rubberize his surroundings.
A minor but important new detail is added in Road to Laugh Tale volume 3 that helps the reader comprehend Luffy’s newfound abilities. This is mentioned in the section on Mythical Zoan types: most of them appear to have unique abilities similar to Paramecia on top of the typical Zoan alterations.
Luffy’s traditional Gomu Gomu skills are thus a component of Nika’s abilities. It makes clear that awakenings from Zoan do not change the environment around the user; rather, they only grant access to a new transformation.
Nika’s Abilities Helped Luffy Defeat Kaido
How Luffy defeated Kaido can be explained by his simultaneous awakening of the powers of a Zoan and a Paramecia. Maybe this is what makes Nika’s powers so special, and the reason this is thought to be the most absurd power in existence. It appears that the World Government has been attempting valiantly for more than 800 years to obtain the Human-Human devil fruit.
They say it was almost like the fruit itself was eluding them because it was so elusive. Even with its recent awakening, there is still a great deal of mystery surrounding the Human-Human fruit and Zoan fruits in general.
One Piece’s final story will reveal some of the answers, and fans will have to wait patiently to discover the answers to the remaining mysteries. These mysteries are the reason why the story of One Piece is so captivating and fans show so much interest in the series and the story.
