Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to run around Elden Ring, annihilating every enemy you come across with a bow? Then good news, as one player has now published a video to the Elden Ring Wiki that details a new build they have devised to fill the need for bow users.
Since Elden Ring has been released for over two years now, it is understandable that players have devised hundreds of builds that can turn nearly any weapon in the game into one of the strongest weapons ever, but from what we can see, this new build could be a major benefit for players who are looking to take on the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC with the upper hand.
There Are Thousands of Builds in Elden Ring, but This One Stands Out Above the Rest if You Love Range
When it comes to a FromSoftware game, players tend to focus on the melee builds that we all know and love. However, Elden Ring was a small exception as it provided players with a large variation of options to explore as magic was improved, ranged combat was altered, and more weapons than ever before were added.
One of the builds in question is known as the Black Arrow build, which utilises a weapon known as the Black Bow and numerous other items and spells to become a rather fun and interesting build that can allow players to essentially run and gun in Elden Ring.
This build is recommended for those who have managed to access the new game + as a lot of players wouldn’t be able to effectively use this build from the beginning of the game, but once you have collected the right equipment and ranked up the right skill points, you will be golden.
These Are the Different Items You Would Need to Make This Build Effective in New Game +
Luckily for most players, this build doesn’t necessarily require any kind of armour to make it work, as it mainly focuses on two spells, a lot of talismans, a high level of skill points, and a good black bow.
To start, let’s talk about the weapons used in this build. As stated above, the main weapon in this build will be the Black Bow, which will be your damage deal, but along with this bow, you should also use a weightless seal and use the spells Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength.
Along with these weapons and spells, you will also need to wear some talismans to help improve upon what these items bring to the table, and these talismans are: Old Lord’s Talisman, Arrow’s Sting Talisman, Shard of Alexander, and finally Blue Dancer Charm.
Finally, the major aspect of this build is the stats that accompany it. Your primary stats to focus on will be vigor and faith, while your secondary stats will be strength and dexterity. Once these are upgraded to a specific level, you can then focus on any other stat you feel would help.
Since we do not know what we will encounter within Shadow of the Erdtree, it would make sense to prepare for anything, and this build is a good start.
