From the mysteries of Miquella’s impact on the Greater Will, and the consequences of everything that is awry in the original game, players will be tasked with the impeccable purpose of once again uncovering the mysteries that cloud FromSoftware’s punishing universe.
Get ready to embark on quests you weren’t prepared for
Since the early days of FromSoftware’s initial expansions for games, there’s a common trope amongst all; the willingness to see a familiar world in unfamiliar ways. The anticipated Elden Ring DLC is once again trying to prove this right, and players will embark on a journey that they weren’t sure of, to begin with.

Between crazy theories emboldened in the flames of time travel, shapeshifting, and more, clearly, FromSoftware had something further in mind. The characters introduced in the trailer may have been familiar with the game’s existing lore, and it looks like a lot of theories align with some of the many mysteries surrounding Miquella and the Golden Order.
Moreover, it’s possible that as we progress through Shadow of the Erdtree, fans are likely to have more questions rather than expecting answers to existing speculations. After all, it is FromSoftware were are talking about. The studio holds a reputation for finding its home in vagueness veiled by the curtains of mystery.
Beyond the fresh gameplay elements and stories we’re yet to understand, there’s also the familiar feeling of, ‘Okay, now what?!‘ players we can’t wait to explore. If there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s the quality of the DLC’s narrative aligning with the gameplay.
