It’s been almost two years since FromSoftware unleashed the beast known as Elden Ring on the gaming world, and even after all this time, the action role-playing title continues to keep players engaged with intriguing content.

The developers announced an upcoming expansion called Shadow of the Erdtree nearly a year ago, but since no exact release date has been shared with the fans of the game, they seem to be keeping themselves busy by completing it again and again in the form of its New Game Plus feature.

Since the title is notorious for being unforgivable when it comes to its enemies and boss fights, gamers on social media are discussing the worst of the bunch that they just don’t mess around with during every playthrough.

The much-needed discussion kicked off on Reddit, as most of them usually start nowadays, with one player creating a thread on the Elden Ring subreddit asking their fellow fans about the enemies they absolutely loathe in the game.

Accompanied by a picture of a giant lobster that looks like it will devour anyone and anything in its sight, the uploader brought up the question regarding which enemy other FromSoftware gamers “completely ignore” while playing the New Game Plus mode of the title.

Some might think that with a specific build and extraordinary stats, it would become easier to get through certain fights, but the thread creator knows that some of the battles should be avoided at all costs, no matter how strong one might think they have gotten.

Elden Ring does not even have to come up with crazy boss designs to make things extremely difficult for its players because, according to plenty of responses on the post, the in-game animals seem to be hard enough. The top answer referred to the “birds in Caelid,” with the player stating that they have never really fought the creatures in any of their playthroughs, and they do not plan to do it anytime soon either.

Another fan replied by justifying why that is the case, as the aforementioned flying beasts “can fake getting staggered,” which makes it too much of a hassle to confront them.

Of course, the birds in Caelid are not the only ones who are absolutely annoying, as one Elden Ring player stated that the creatures in “mohg place are so much worse.” Continuing with the focus on the in-game animals in FromSoftware’s RPG, one player confessed that they “don’t fight wolves and jellyfish if at all possible.” Since those two do not really like confrontations themselves, the fans do not have a reason to kill them, so they just let them chill and live.

Even Deadly Puke Can Kill Players in Elden Ring

There are some enemies in Elden Ring that are just straight up disgusting rather than frightening, which is why one player chooses to avoid the “things that puke death blight” as their finishing moves.

Then come the “teleporting monstrosities with 8 arms,” with the gamers stating that it is not because they are difficult to defeat, especially because of their strong build, but because it is just a psychological reflex to ignore them.

FromSoftware’s title also has some extremely “dumb” enemies, including the “frog albinaurics,” who are notorious for performing “goofy teletubby” cartwheels, which makes it best to run past them.
