Elden Ring is getting its anticipated DLC in a few months, but Shadow of the Erdtree isn’t the only expansion that FromSoftware fans should be looking forward to in June. The Soulsborne community has been asking for more Bloodborne content since its initial PS4 exclusive release nearly a decade ago, and it seems like the requests have been heard, although not in the most conventional way.

The intriguing lore created by Hidetaka Miyazaki will continue in The Bleak Dominion, another graphic novel that further builds on the gothic world introduced by the Soulslike title in 2015.

The FromSoftware community probably only had Shadow of the Erdtree on their radars, believing that 2024 is actually being great to them as the Elden Ring DLC finally got an official launch date. But June is looking to be even better for Soulsborne fans than originally thought, as the beloved Bloodborne will also be getting a brand new life in a few months.

For those players who have been wanting to head back into the depressing world of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s 2015 game, The Bleak Dominion is set to continue the tie-in comic book series based on the Lovecraftian lore, as this is definitely not the first time the title has made its way into other forms of media.

Bloodborne‘s upcoming graphic novel continuation will be written by Cullen Bunn, who is known for his previous work on various Marvel comic books such as X-Men and Deadpool, as he joins forces with artist Piotr Kowalski once again. The Bleak Dominion will reintroduce fans and readers to hunters Abraham and Gretchen, who have lost their protégé in the horrifyingly dark city of Yharnam.

Of course, the location is not exactly friendly, and their adventure is not going to be without terrifying encounters with numerous beasts as they try to navigate their way through town under the blood moon.

Bloodborne Expansion Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion can be pre-ordered on Amazon in two different formats, with the Kindle edition priced at $11.99 and the Paperback version costing $16.19. The upcoming graphic novel expansion is set for release on June 4, so FromSoftware fans just have to wait for a couple of months to revisit the iconic and gothic city of Yharnam.

Since the 2015 video game is definitely a fan-favorite title, the Soulsborne community will be able to join the two protagonist hunters as they head “deep into the depths of the chalice dungeons in order to find Lucien.”

The official description for the graphic novel states that “malignant and ancient horrors await them,” leaving it up to speculation whether iconic bosses from Bloodborne will be returning in some shape or form.
