Godrick the Grafted is the first major boss and shard bearer that the players come across in the game. Despite giving a hard challenge initially, he happens to be the weakest shard bearer in contrast to every other demigod our tarnished character fights against. Fans have also started theorizing how he ultimately copied his grafting technique from the mane-bearing creature we will fight in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Godrick the Grafted – Did The Weakest Demigod In Elden Ring Copy His Key Technique From Someone Else?

The Land of Shadow promises to deliver a new experience and a level of adventure never witnessed before. Cue all the new weapons, their arts, and the enemies the player will get to fight once they finally traverse into the undiscovered realm on 21st June.

One of the enemies teased is a mane-bearing creature, with a resemblance to lions in real life. Fans have also observed how the creature bears horns, connecting it to omens, but that is a story for another day. The most prominent feature about this new enemy remains the different limbs that seem to be grafted onto its body, making gamers speculate this just might be where Godrick derived inspiration from.

However, this would also imply that the demigod in his lifetime once came face to face with the monster that remains unnamed for now. Despite leaving gaps in the Elden Ring’s timeline if true, it remains evident that Hidetaka Miyazaki is capable of pulling off nearly anything with his brilliant mind, and there remains no doubt he can easily create a connection between the two entities if he wants to.

After revealing how SoTE will be the first and only DLC that the game will be getting, Hidetaka Miyazaki has now confused the fans about what he is planning next. There is also a silver lining present, as fans are now guessing how this hints toward a potential sequel eventually as FromSoftware would be foolish to let their best-selling franchise slip away for nothing.

Unfortunately, everything remains uncertain for now. Whatever it might be, the renowned director knows how he has many fans always looking forward to his next project, which is sure to get a great reception regardless of whether its an addition to an existing franchise, or the foundation of a new one.
