Now, speculative fan art shows that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch character will be there in the movie. In that creation, she’s summoning undead creatures from different universes to battle Kang the Conqueror. Even though it’s just fan art, there are chances that Scarlet Witch will return in Secret Wars to defeat the supervillain.
Avengers Fan Art Shows Scarlet Witch’s Nightmare-Fueled Return
Phase Four officially started in 2021 with the highly anticipated release of Marvel’s television series, WandaVision, on Disney+.
Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) take cues from Marvel Comics’ The Vision and the Scarlet Witch storyline.
Later, she took on a pivotal role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the movie’s antagonist. In the film, she turned against the values of a hero. Now, there’s no idea whether she will return as a hero again, but recently, fan art gave hope to her heroic comeback.

At the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga (Avengers: Secret Wars), several Marvel heroes are expected to return. And Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is one of them. Even recent fan theories also speculate that she’ll have a significant part in overcoming Kang the Conqueror.
Will Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch Return in the MCU?
According to the insider source CanWeGetSomeToast, the main villain in the Multiverse of Madness was intended to be Nightmare, not Scarlet Witch. This indicates Marvel Studios hadn’t planned for Wanda Maximoff to become a villain.
The source also revealed Wanda Maximoff’s return to the MCU in the conversation. Responding to fan questions, they hinted that Scarlet Witch will definitely return to the MCU — this time, as a “hero again” and also “stronger than ever”:

Although it’s uncertain if Scarlet Witch will return as a hero in Secret Wars, fans will be glad to know that the MCU is developing projects related to her character. The existence of WandaVision sequels like Vision Quest and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries (previously Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Agatha: House of Harkness) is in the works.
