Stone, who starred with Ryan Gosling in the film, shared a sizzling chemistry with The Notebook actor, making them one of the most popular on-screen pairings in Hollywood.
The Amazing Spider-Man actor and Gosling had already developed a camaraderie through their earlier film together Crazy, Stupid, Love, and continued in the same vein in La La Land. Stone, in an interview, spoke about various interesting facts about the film and the experiences she had during the filming. Emma Stone Revealed Ryan Gosling’s Weird Obsession On Set
Through the course of filming La La Land, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling also formed a close bond as co-stars and friends. In an interactive session with Vanity Fair, Stone spoke about many aspects of filming La La Land and also talked about her co-star and his quirks. When asked about a particular trait of Gosling that fans would not be aware of, The Help star said,
“Ryan can eat more Twizzlers that anyone you’ve ever met. He would keep it in his coat pocket and just, you know, hand out the Twizzlers and eat Twizzlers himself”.
Emma Stone went on to confess that she was also a huge fan of the chewy candy and would take any opportunity to grab them from Gosling on set, during the filming of La La Land.
