Without confirming her status of love life or the name of her partner, Emma Watson simply revealed how she prefers dating unfamed people rather than Hollywood celebrities. Speaking with British GQ in 2013, Watson addressed her love life and stated how she rarely dates celebrities.
In order to protect her privacy, Emma Watson revealed dating common people, rather than celebrities who are often under media scrutiny just like her. Discussing with the outlet, the actress stated how she often dates her friends and friends of friends, rather than indulging with her colleagues.
“Generally, people I have dated have been friends of friends or people that I have been in a class with. Someone that I have met under circumstances in which we are equals, so the fame thing doesn’t enter the situation.”
Happily discussing her professional life, and her upcoming projects during interviews, Emma Watson purposefully refrains from discussing her boyfriends. Thus, speaking with Vanity Fair, the actress stated,
“I want to be consistent. I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.”
Unfortunately, her desire to keep her life private has ended up with fans and media sparking unnecessary speculations. Yet, Watson still maintained her effort and has routinely been reluctant to discuss her personal life.
