From celebrities to renowned entertainment franchises, Fortnite has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to collaborations. And its developer, Epic Games, seems to keep the momentum going in the future, as the new survey sent to users suggests. To this date, the game has featured collaborations from the likes of Eminem, Stranger Things, Marvel Comics, and more.
To this date, 500 million players have registered for the video game, and almost half of them are monthly active users. Moreover, it has generated over $25 million in revenue since its inception. 2022 remains the best year for the game so far, given that it produced $6 billion during the period. And now the long list of potential collaborations may add a little boost to this.

Although, there is no confirmation on any of the collabs featured in the survey,. However, what could be the reason for sending out a variety of names to players, if not a potential collaboration? Given the history, it might be possible Fortnite will go for the top picks for their upcoming crossover.
“While this isn’t a confirmation of any upcoming collabs, this could be a hint at collabs to come in the future if Epic Games sees enough interest in specific characters/brands,” says iFireMonkey, the user who brought the information to light.
Users were excited to see the list. A user said,
FLCL IN FORTNITE????? @EpicGames @FortniteGame PLZ ILL PLAY EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL DAY 25/8 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
FLCL is an anime with a current IMDb rating of 8.1.
Joining Hands with these Properties Could Open Up New Possibilities for Creators
If the list is actually Pandora’s box of upcoming collaborations, then it’s an amazing treat for anime fans. There has always been tough competition between Fortnite and Roblox in terms of active users and collaborations. As far as activity is concerned, Roblox sees more monthly active users than Fortnite. Someone even created a Call of Duty clone in the game.
However, Fortnite gets a lot of attention from viewers when a celebrity steps up on the platform. Travis Scott’s concert in 2020 garnered over 45 million views, while Ariana Grande’s in the year that followed raked in 27 million. It is uncertain if there will be a concert, but the list suggests names of celebrities.
Whatever the purpose this list serves, fans can speculate that something big is about to enter the popular online video game. For now, they can play Chapter 5 Season 2 which will give them a punch of Greek mythology.
Do you think the list has to do with future collaborations in the game? Let us know in the comments.
