The new Fortnite season brings Greek mythology to the players with eye-catching locations that may fix anyone’s gaze upon them. It’s gods like Zeus that await players in the game to face off in fierce battles to get hold of their Mythic weapons and wreak havoc over others. Epic’s tendency to keep the roster of Mythics is not new and this time it has added five new weapons for players to conquer the battlefield.
Chapter 5 Season 2 likely has a lifespan of two and a half months with players requiring reaching level 200 in order to get all the rewards there are in the season. Anyone who can beat 3 levels a day can easily get to the end of the rainbow to emerge as a champion in a godlike manner. But this won’t be a cakewalk, especially when it comes to acquiring Mythics.
It Will Take More Than Mythics To Conquer Ground Against Gods in Fortnite
In a way, getting all the Mythics in this Fortnite season follows the same pattern, although what follows after that is tricky. Players need to reach a certain location and then defeat a boss to get the reward out of them.
- Thunderbolt of Zeus and the Huntress DMR can be found at Mount Olympus.
- Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun can be found at Grim Gate.
- Hades’ Harbinger can be found at The Underworld.
- Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle can be found at Brawler’s Battleground.
The Thunderbolt of Zeus is more of a superpower than a weapon and there will be more like the Chains of Hades which will be entering later in the season. Wings of Icarus is another Olympian power present in the season players can wield.
As the name suggests, it can help players lift in the game. However, there’s a limit to it and the wings may burn if they get too high. This shows the attention to detail devs have emphasized on as Icarus’ Wings were made of feathers, threads from blankets, clothes, and beeswax, which melted after he reached close to the sun.
More Crossovers Await Later In The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
And it’s not just characters from Greek mythology that will make an appearance in the season. The trailer showcased a glimpse of The Legend of Korra, a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. However, fans were disappointed as they expected other characters from the universe.
There also were rumors of Jujutsu Kaisen skins coming later in the game. One user recently shared some developer codes on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) suggesting the return of this particular anime crossover.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has just begun and like many stories, players can focus on what’s available at hand and let the narrative unfold.
