Fortnite Battle Royale’s newest season, Myths & Mortals, introduces some of the most familiar and epic characters from Greek mythos. Characters like Zeus have made their way into the game, and it’s high time players go against the gods themselves.
In this season of myth, magic, and everything in between, there have been a lot of new changes. New weapons, map improvements, characters, and more are just the beginning. Among these experiences, facing Zeus for the first time is quite the charm, and here’s how you go about it.
Get Ready to Battle Zeus at Mount Olympus
Before diving into things, you can read in detail about all the latest editions on Fortnite’s official page. There are many new weapons (and Mythics) to wield and personalities to cross paths with. In fact, you can even mimic the gods and take flight across this map this season.
Whether you’re here to please the gods or mock and wreck them, there are many ways of going about it. Zeus in particular can be found at Mount Olympus, which is a gorgeous new location added to the map. However, it may take a few moments until he spawns. After all, Zeus is a busy dude. Just… don’t ask him what he’s up to.
Once he spawns, you can either run away (for your life) or go against him. If you decide on the latter, we wish you luck, as Zeus can be a daunting enemy. He wields the new Mythic item, Thunderbolt, which deals decent damage. Upon defeating him, you too can wield it.
Fortnite Is Flying to New Horizons This Season
Chapter 5 of the popular battle royale introduced players to a lot of new mechanics. So much so that you may have to keep track of all the new things. While Underground welcomed players into a new world, Myths & Mortals is taking things to new heights – quite literally!
From the option to fly to wielding Zeus’ own weapon, there’s a lot to discover this season. The battle pass, too, brings in some familiar characters from tales dating back to Greek mythology in their finest form and leaves room for future collaborations.
Even someone like Medusa has found her way to the battle royale, and players will keep uncovering new secrets as the season progresses. Who knows what else we’re yet to see from the Greek mythos going forward?
