Epic Games’ Fortnite is one of the most popular titles, and it owes its popularity to its amazing gameplay and freedom of customization, not to mention that it’s free to play. The developer also brings in collaborations from time to time that have now become a big part of Fortnite.

While the crossovers have helped the game garner more players, they have also overshadowed the main gameplay that first appealed to players. A survey from developers has now been sent to players, asking them about new crossovers they would want in the game.

A Fortnite Survey Suggests New Collaborations Are on the Cards

The latest Chapter 5 Season 2, Myths & Mortals, was released on March 8th in Fortnite and brought Greek gods with their unique powers to the game. It was also revealed that a collaboration with the Avatar: The Last Airbender sequel, The Legend of Korra, will also be coming later.

However, it doesn’t mean that the Korra crossover will be the only one, as Epic has recently sent a survey to players asking about different characters and franchises that they know about and would like to see in the game. According to the reliable Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey, the potential collaborations include video game franchises, celebrities, anime, athletes, and more.

These further include The Boondocks, Club Penguin, One-Punch Man, Doctor Who, Yakuza, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and many others. One of the biggest crossovers that has been suggested to arrive is the long-rumored One Piece. There have been several leaks and reports hinting that the anime collaboration is imminent and will be coming to the game soon.

Sanji has been mentioned in the “anime characters” section and could come to Fortnite with the collaboration. Moreover, there is no mention of characters such as Luffy, Nami, and Zoro, which could mean that they are already in the works and the developers just want to confirm if players would also like to see Sanji in the game.

Fortnite Seems to Be Only Focusing on Collabs Now

The crossovers have surely made the game more popular, but they have also made it lose its core identity, its gameplay. The game has been praised for how immersive and innovative its gameplay is and has attracted all kinds of players. Collabs are indeed important to keep things interesting; being completely dependent on them, selling cosmetics and skins might not go well for the game.

As per the leaks, more and more crossovers could be coming to the game, such as Assassin’s Creed, Diablo, Silent Hill, World of Warcraft, and others. Additionally, Five Nights at Freddy’s has been long-requested by the players and is also included in the survey. The rumored Doctor Who collaboration is also on the cards.

The celebrities and athletes included in the survey are Rafael Nadal, Kevin De Bruyne, Margot Robbie, Zendaya, Tom Hanks, Anya Taylor-Joy, and several others. There is also mention of television and streaming series such as Tokyo Ghoul and That 70s Show, among others.
