Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury has had a very mysterious life in the MCU. However, after confirmation of his return in the upcoming series Secret Invasion, there seems to be another role he will be taking up next. Joining the extremely exclusive group of actors who worked as executive producers in their own headlining projects, Samuel L. Jackson is finally taking up what he terms as the “biggest workload I’ve ever had,” since his debut in Marvel back in 2008 with Iron Man.

Before him, only Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth in Thor: Love and Thunder, Tom Hiddleston in Loki, and Isaac Oscar in Moon Knight had the fortune to do that with Johansson being the first one for her 2021 Black Widow. Jackson mentioned how even with such a huge workload, he “couldn’t wait to get set and work.” As even Robert Downey Jr, the highest-paid actor in Marvel hadn’t had the fortune, it is safe to say, this is a historical moment in both his and Marvel’s careers.
