“It starts out when I’m up at 4 o’clock in the morning. I’m in the kitchen making breakfast. At 5 o’clock I’m in the gym. By 6:30 I’ve already had another shake. At 7:30 I’m eating a couple of turkey burgers, dropping the kids off at school. By 9 o’clock I’m having another meal, and I’ve already been to church and worked out. I feel like there isn’t anything I can’t accomplish.”

On the flip side, Johnson, who brags about being the hardest worker in the room, admitted that matching that early intensity is a real challenge. In the same interview, Johnson joked,

“Certainly not all that by 9 o’clock,” he sees training as a big part of his life since he was 14, inspired by the successful men he admires. The Black Adam star stated,

“The training for me has become very defining; it has become part of my life, my lifestyle. It’s defined me in many ways. When I was 14 years old, I started training and I thought to myself, ‘I want to be successful.’ And the way I know how to be successful, I think, [is from] the men I admire.”

This revelation gives us a peek into the high standards set by Wahlberg in the world of celebrity workouts. And guess what? Wahlberg let it slip that he can do more pull-ups than The Rock. Talk about a fitness face-off!

He threw down the challenge, claiming he could do more pull-ups than the Hollywood star, putting the ball in Johnson’s court. During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Wahlberg boldly asserted his pull-up supremacy, answering questions about who rules in that department.

“Oh, I could do more pull-ups than The Rock. I dunno, I did 25 here with a pair of Timberland boots for charity. But the max I do is probably like, 40, but clean ones. Clean ones.”

Wahlberg, known for flaunting his gym sessions, even showcased his sculpted upper body after gaining weight for Father Stu.

While both are fitness icons, Wahlberg’s confidence in beating Johnson at pull-ups spices up their friendly rivalry. It’s a showdown worth keeping an eye on in the world of celebrity workouts.
