The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase has wrapped. Nintendo showed off a list of games from its partners that are scheduled to launch on the Switch this year, including two Xbox first-party games: Grounded and Pentiment are set to make the jump to Nintendo consoles soon.
From remakes and sequels to ports and an endless ocean, these are some of the highlights of today’s showcase.
Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Confirms Two Xbox Exclusives Coming to the Switch
Two rumors regarding what Xbox exclusives could make the jump to other platforms have been confirmed at the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase that was posted in a video on YouTube today.
Xbox Game Studios’ Pentiment is launching on the Nintendo Switch tomorrow, February 22. The next in line will be Grounded, which is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on April 16, 2024.
Atlus Announces Unicorn Overlord Demo and an Enhanced Shin Megami Tensei V
Atlus’ and Vanillaware’s upcoming tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on March 8. A demo of the medieval RPG is out now.
The publisher also announced Shin Megami Tensei Vengeance, an enhanced version with an untold story of the 2021 Switch game. It will launch on June 21.
The Souls-Like Another Crab’s Treasure Launches This April
Another Crab’s Treasure is an upcoming underwater action game that has been inspired by the Dark Souls games. It has just received an official release date: The colorful souls-like will launch on April 25.
Star Wars: Battlefront Collection Sees the Return of Two Iconic Games
A collection of two iconic Star Wars titles will hit the Nintendo Switch on March 14: Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection includes the first two games of the Battlefront series and will feature online multiplayer battles with new characters and maps. It is available for pre-order today.
Disney Epic Mickey Is Getting a Remake
Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed is an upcoming remake of the 2010 Wii game. The action-adventure platformer is set to launch on the Switch later this year.
Penny’s Big Breakaway Is Out Now
Penny’s Big Breakaway is a platformer from the team behind Sonic Mania. As a big surprise, the game has dropped and is available now.
Devolver’s Pepper Grinder Demo Announced
The 2D side-scrolling platformer Pepper Grinder published by Devolver Digital will launch on March 28. A demo is available now.
Endless Ocean Luminous Sees the Return of the Wii Title
The last game shown was Endless Ocean Luminous, an unexpected sequel to the relaxing scuba-diving Nintendo Wii games Endless Ocean and its sequel Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep from 2007 and 2009. It is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on May 2. Pre-orders are available now.
