5. Liberty Prime Turns on Enclave

Liberty Prime for Fallout

Originally designed as a weapon to liberate Anchorage, Alaska from Chinese forces, the unstable power core of Liberty Prime rendered it useless. However, two hundred years later, the Brotherhood of Steel got their hands on the giant robot and fixed the power issue that saw it taking to the streets to wreak vengeance against the Enclave.

The scene where Liberty Prime shoots lasers from its heads while spouting propaganda like, “embrace democracy or you will be eradicated.” is easily one of the most iconic shots of the expansion pack Fallout 3: Broken Steel.

4. Nuking Megaton

Nuking of Megaton

Every Fallout game features a town where players learn the ropes about the new world. Megaton is that town in Fallout 3. But after the tutorials are over, players get to learn that they would have to annihilate Megaton. The small village was pretty unsightly, but its occupants were the player’s first contact in the Wastelands. Nuking Megaton sets the tone for Fallout 3.

The TV show could incorporate a version of these events to showcase the brutality of the Wastelands and set the tone for the rest of the show.

3. Getting Power Armor

Power Armor in the Fallout TV show trailer

Power Armor is the epitome of weaponized armor in the Fallout universe. The trailer for the TV show has already shown us glimpses of the Power Armor. And fans are no doubt excited to see the steel-enmeshed monstrosities take on every challenge in the Wastelands. Bethesda Games is known to flaunt the armor at any given opportunity in the game as it is ridiculously difficult to wield. Fans can only hope that the TV show is going to follow the same direction and give fans a lot of time with the Power Armor.

2. Quest To Find Tandi

Tandi

The trailer for Amazon’s Fallout TV show features a brief, blink-and-miss reference to Shady Sands. In the original Fallout game, the player is tasked with a mission to rescue Tandi, who is the daughter of the leader of the Shady Sands. This quest was unique back in 1998 because of the variety of choices available to the player, all of which led to different outcomes.

While the different outcomes would be difficult to portray in the TV series, a quest to find Tandi might just give the show enough time to lay out the huge expanse of Wastelands for the viewers.

1. The Lottery of Nipton

The Lottery of Nipton is an incident of unparalleled savagery and brutality. While reaching the city of Nipton, the player comes face to face with a bumbling madman who rambles about winning a lottery while running away from the town. Only when the player turns the corner do they begin to grasp what that man was saying. Ceaser’s legion had carried out the death sentence on the town, with one twist. Through the means of a lottery, one person was let go and another person was crippled. Everybody else was executed on the crucifixes that lined the road.

Including this scene would mean that the TV show will stay true to the gory themes of the Fallout franchise video games.

I travel. I game. I write. In no strict order.

The single biggest lie told all around is, "It isn't that simple." It is simple, everything is. And that is what I emulate in my writing. No unnecessary jargons and no flamboyant flourish. Just what's needed to get your imagination going. After all mind has no limit, unlike the written word.
