Headlines can’t seem to get enough of pop singer Taylor Swift, who won two Grammys out of the six she was nominated for at the Grammy Awards 2024. Winning the Album of the Year at the Grammys this year for her tenth studio album, Midnights, released in October 2022, made her the first performer to win the prize four times.
Taylor Swift’s romance with NFL footballer Travis Kelce has been the talk of the town ever since the couple made their relationship public. Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are preparing to play against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on February 11. This warranted a celebration, and a wedding chapel in Las Vegas was quick to grab the opportunity.
Las Vegas Wedding Chapel is Using Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Relationship as A Marketing Strategy
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating back in 2023 but did not make a public appearance much after they actually started dating, and for good. It is no secret how quickly things can take a dark turn on the internet. When Swift attended The Chiefs vs. Bears game in September, the news went around like rather inevitable wildfire. Much to the delight of the fans, the couple has been going strong for months now.
The Las Vegas wedding chapel named, Chapel of the Flowers has announced they will offer free weddings to couples named Taylor and Travis on Super Bowl Sunday. So, if you are lovers of those names, Chapel of the Flowers is waiting to welcome you with open arms (doors, in this case).
In a press release obtained by PEOPLE, the chapel’s CEO Donne Kerestic said:
“For those not eligible for a Super Bowl ring, how about a game-day wedding with some Las Vegas Bling? If your name is Taylor and you’d like to get married to your partner Travis after the big game, this is your chance to score a free Vegas wedding!”
Kerestic also went on to say that couples not named Taylor and Travis also stood a chance to get a free wedding if they were lucky enough.
Taylor Swift Might Not Make it To The Super Bowl Game on Sunday
Taylor Swift has attended several football games ever since she started dating Travis Kelce. However, she might not be there to support her boyfriend on his big day as he will play with his team Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Seeing how supportive the two have been of each other, Swift has no reason not to attend the Super Bowl except that she will be performing in Tokyo less than 24 hours before the game begins. Even so, fans have high hopes to see the Stay, Stay, Stay singer at the Super Bowl cheering Kelce on.
