In a 2021 interview with GQ, Tom Holland confirmed his intention to retire from the role of Spider-Man by the time he reaches 30. “Maybe it’s time for me to move on,” he remarked. “Maybe what’s best for Spider-Man is that they do a Miles Morales film.”

He went on to say, “If I’m still playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.” Additionally, Holland expressed a desire to take a break from acting altogether, stating, “I’d be very content with just being a stay-at-home dad and producing a film here and there.”

He pondered the possibility of committing to a new project, such as the series The Crowded Room for Apple TV+, or potentially reprising the role of Spider-Man for future installments. Ultimately, Holland admitted uncertainty about his future plans, stating, “I’m not sure what I want to do.”

Tom Holland is currently 27 years old. Avengers: Secret Wars releases in 2027, so he will be well past 30 by then. Therefore, according to him – he wouldn’t want to play Spider-Man again at that age and so fans should temper their excitement for Holland to reprise his role as Spider-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars.

In February 2022, HBO officially greenlit a third season of Euphoria. Initially scheduled to begin production in 2024, filming for the new season was unexpectedly delayed, with no specific reason provided by HBO at the time of the announcement.

Insider Jeff Sneider has now revealed that part of the delay in production for Euphoria season 3 is due to Zendaya’s involvement in Spider-Man 4 alongside Tom Holland. Zendaya, who not only portrays the lead character Rue Bennett in Euphoria but also serves as an executive producer, is slated to film Spider-Man 4 next.

According to Sneider’s report, Spider-Man 4 was set to commence filming sometime in September or October 2024, with Justin Lin reportedly considered as the director. Consequently, the production of Euphoria season 3 had to be further postponed. Additionally, Sneider mentioned that script-related changes also contributed to the delays in production for the third season of Euphoria.
