Eren Yeager’s Voice Actors Will Be Interviewed Before The Ending Of Attack on Titan

The strong-headed, courageous yet reckless personality of Eren Yeager from the manga is recreated in the original Japanese anime version by Yuki Kaji. An experienced voice actor, Kaji previously starred as the V.A. for Lyon Vastia in Fairy Tail, Virgil in Pokémon: Black & White: Rival Destinies, and Sabito in Demon Slayer.

As for the English voice actor of Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Bryce Papenbrook is known for voicing Rikuto Ikeda in Assassination Classroom, Liebe in Black Clover, and Inosuke Hashibira in Demon Slayer. According to a post on X by Attack on Titan Wiki, both English and Japanese voice actors of Eren Yeager will take part in a special event organized and aired by Japanese TV station NHK. Interestingly, both voice actors will be in character during the interview.

This will be the first time that questions will be directed to the anime character themself rather than the voice actors. That being said, expect Eren Yeager to further justify the reason why he suddenly turned to exterminating humans rather than Titans.

At the beginning of AoT, Eren Yeager is just a regular human bent on avenging his mother after the latter is killed by a Titan. He dedicates his life to ridding the world of Titans and joins the Survey Corps to gain power. During a mission in Trost, Jaeger is devoured by a Titan but instead of being dead, he becomes a hybrid Titan and a human.

Seemingly corrupted by power, Season 4 of Attack on Titan featured Yeager’s twisted mission to destroy most of the population to rid the world of evil. The Founding Titan has been successful despite the Scout regiment’s best efforts. He is aiming to bring the Rumbling – a cataclysmic event where multiple Colossal Titans march on Earth and wreak destruction.

Good and Evil are two different perspectives. Eren Yeager is right in his choice to bestow a better, safer world for his friends, although it involves mass murder. The series finale of Attack on Titan is expected to feature much death and destruction.
