Adeline Rudolph Joined the Cast of Mortal Kombat 2

As per The Hollywood Reporter, 28-year-old actress Adeline Rudolph has joined the cast of the Mortal Kombat sequel. The director of the 2021 film, Simon McQuoid, is also working on the sequel, and The Boys star Karl Urban has joined the cast as the lead character, Johnny Cage.

Rudolph will star as Kitana in the sequel, who was introduced in Mortal Kombat 2 and has become one of the signature characters of the game. She uses cutthroat steel fans as her weapon and was last portrayed by Talisa Soto in the 1995 live-action movie.

Jeremy Slater is working on the script of the sequel that will follow the martial arts fighters defending the Earthrealm from the Outworld. The 2021 film was released in theatres and streaming platform HBO Max at the same time during the pandemic.
