In a post on Twitter/x @Detonatedcom shared the Spencer quote confirming the October release of the new game, fans responded, some were angry about the current state of the franchise and some announced that they were giving up on the series and that they were no longer interested.

It is not hard to understand why people are feeling frustrated, there is a new game every 12 months, meaning there is rarely time to miss the series and get excited for a new entry.

It is apparent that not everyone is entirely wrapped with a new COD game on the horizon so soon, hopefully their concerns can be put to rest when the game releases later this year.
