Call of Duty Warzone 3.0 Season 2 is bringing back the highly anticipated, fan-favorite Battle Royale map, Fortune’s Keep. The map made its first appearance in Call of Duty Warzone back in 2022 as a Battle Royale map and features 12 sections. Warzone 3 was released on the 6th of December last year with a fully playable Resurgence mode and fans have been waiting for remastered maps to hit the game ever since.
While fans wait for remastered Rebirth Island and Verdansk to return to Warzone, Fortune’s Keep is sure to keep players busy until future maps also get added to the game. Warzone Season 2 is set to be released next month.
More details about Fortune’s Keep Remastered in Call of Duty Warzone 3.0
Activision has sent the usual care packages to streamers and this time, it’s revealed to include a collectible of the Fortune’s Keep castle. One of these packages was sent to well-known Call of Duty streamer Nicari and screenshots of the castle were posted on X by another streamer, Doug.
The collectible itself is quite detailed and shows the castle in rubble, hit with either an earthquake or some other drastic event that has dealt heavy damage to the Keep. Doug’s post on X shows four different models of Fortune’s Keep, each showing extensive damage.
Out of the four models, two of them showed what looked like new locations being added to the map, with the possibility of water combat being introduced.
Last year’s Warzone 2.0 did not feature either of the fan-favorite maps, Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep so while fans are hyped to see the return of Fortune’s Keep, there’s even more anticipation of Rebirth Island.
Fans Equally Hyped Waiting to See Rebirth Island Soon
Fans have been replying to an earlier post by Doug showing their excitement to see the return of the resurgence map in the game. Fans were mostly divided between being excited to wait for Fortune’s Keep to drop next month and waiting to hear about a possible date for another remastered map, Rebirth Island.

One of the fans replied stating how the collapsed castle looks even better compared to the original Fortune’s Keep.
Several others, however, have responded mentioning Rebirth Island as being more highly anticipated than Fortune’s Keep. Rebirth Island was initially announced back in October last year to be released this year and is now expected to return to Warzone 3.0 by Spring 2024.
That release is expected to coincide with the release of Warzone Mobile, which is yet to get a confirmed release date at the moment. Verdansk is also reportedly being added to Warzone later this year as it was called late last year. Verdansk is another map that fans are waiting for but is not expected to be out before Rebirth Island.
For now, players can wait for Fortune’s Keep to drop with Warzone 3.0‘s Season 2 update on the 7th of next month. Rebirth Island details should also drop in the coming weeks as fans are eagerly looking forward to what changes are brought to that map.
