Unfortunately, not all fans are happy with this. Some players on PC and consoles are angry about the fact that the beloved Verdansk map will only be available on Warzone Mobile.

The Call of Duty franchise keeps getting bigger in every way imaginable, from new games to new platforms added to some old titles. Activision will launch Warzone Mobile next week, and fans are celebrating this by talking about how their devices will explode trying to run this very powerful game. Not all the fandom is happy about this, especially keeping in mind that a beloved map will be available by launch on WM but not on the other platforms.

Thanks to a post on X from Insider Modern Warzone, some users could see the graphic power that WM will have, but they also saw that Verdansk will be available on that version of the game.

Players have asked for months that Verdansk be brought back to the playlist, but Activision is not listening. They are happy about this launch, but they want Verdansk really badly. Fans don’t want Urzikstan or Fortune’s Keep anymore; they want the old map that launched with the game in 2020.

The fandom has been asking for Verdansk for a long time now, and Activision didn’t say anything about the map entering the playlist any time soon. Players saw the new presentation trailer for WM, and they were very angry after seeing that Verdansk would be in that version of the game but not for PC or consoles.

There is no confirmation or information about what playlist the mobile version will use.

WM will be released on March 21 for compatible devices. According to Activision, this title will have cross-progression and crossplay with any other platform on which it is available. If the trailer is really true and the first map available at launch is Verdansk, all the playlists will have to change for the game to have real crossplay.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
