This first part of Chapter 5 will end on March 8. Some insiders have already leaked several rumors about the new season that could be mythological-themed. Thanks to a leaked video, a very strong MCU reference was shown.
Is the new Fortnite season bringing an MCU reference?
The Epic Games hit game is always looking for new ways to expand its universe with new collaborations and content. This particular season has not brought any new details about the lore of Fortnite but has tested out new mechanics and weapons.
With the current NPC bosses and the medallions feature, this could mean new bosses that have to do with the new season arriving very soon. According to leaks, this new second season will be mythological and will have strong references to the Titan and Greek gods.
A recently leaked video posted on X by iFireMonkey has revealed a giant hand emerging from the ground alongside an incredibly huge chest; this might indicate a new mechanic that could be introduced in the future. This is also a reminder of the giant hand that was introduced in the Eternals movie, this hand was part of the Celestial called Tiamut. This reference to the MCU could mean a new collaboration or just a simple similarity, but in the movie, this meant a new beginning. Fortnite could also add new powers for the season that will make the match much more interesting.

What kind of collaboration could come next?
This giant hand represents the Titans, the fathers of the Gods, and could possibly be in the next season. That giant chest will be an incredible loot to get. The current season of Fortnite will end on March 8.
For now, the official social media of the game has not revealed anything, but in the next few days, as always, Fortnite will post some clues about the new season, including hints about the skins and collaborations of the new battle pass.
Recently, Epic Games closed a deal with Disney, and the company that owns Pixar invested 1.5 billion dollars in the company. This could mean that Disney will arrive at Fortnite soon, among other possible projects that Disney could be doing with Epic Games in the next few years. There is no official Disney core character available on Fortnite at the moment.
