Fortnite, the popular battle royale, is rumored to be teaming up with Avatar: The Last Airbender for the upcoming mid-season Event Pass. Along with two variants of Aang (Fortnite style and LEGO style), there will also be an opportunity for players to get the Appa Glider.
As usual, fans delved into speculation to decipher whether this is real and what it means for future collaborations of the game. But, on top of all, a section of fans are really hell-bent on Fortnite collaborating with One Piece.
Although no such collaboration has ever taken place, The Last Airbender-themed event has given rise to hope that maybe One Piece isn’t that far away.

Fortnite is renowned for its ambitious collaborations. Be it with Marvel, God of War, Star Wars, NFL, or DC Comics, the collaborations are well-received by fans. Now, with Aang and Appa reportedly set to star in the game, fans, quite understandably, are quite excited.

There has been no official confirmation as of yet, but the user who posted this news followed up with a comment where that said, “Source: Straight from the Fortnite API“.
This news gave rise to an intense fan frenzy as everybody clamored for more news on the topic. By the looks of it, a large section of fans want another anime collaboration soon. One Piece is one of the most loved and critically acclaimed animes. So, it is no wonder, that fans would want it to come in the form of a collaboration of Fortnite.
Previously, fans were also speculating about a rumored return of Kratos to Fortnite after it was found out that the new season is going to be Greek-themed. Lady Gaga is also set to feature in Fortnite, 5 years after she said that she had no idea about the game.
Fans Demand a One Piece Crossover
One Piece is one of the most popular animes out there. So, it is no wonder that fans are dying to see a crossover. Some fans pulled out all the stops as they ‘begged’ for a One Piece crossover in the comment section of The Last Airbender leak.

Fans joined in the conversation with their own two bits and most of them were of the feeling that it is about time One Piece joins the Fortnite battlefields. One user said that they felt the new season would feature One Piece because players haven’t had a pirate-themed season in quite a long time. While other players looked forward to playing the game with Luffy.
While not everyone was a fan of the demands of One Piece X Fortnite, fans had a field day wondering what could be if it does come to pass.
There have been no official announcements as of yet regarding the Avatar: The Last Airbender leak. So, unless that is properly announced, any chance of a One Piece announcement is slim to none.
