Kratos is a fan-favorite character that has appeared in Fortnite previously as a purchasable skin. It was a limited-time event that left players rueing who could not purchase the skin back then.

But after the latest leaked updates on the new season, people are hopeful about getting him back in the game. Even Lady Gaga’s appearance has taken a backseat in the face of these speculations.

Soon, the post was flooded with comments and speculations regarding what other skins would be available. A large majority of the fans immediately focused on debating whether he would be available.

A single fan mused whether a Percy Jackson crossover could be on the cards, but as far as speculations go, this isn’t completely unfounded. Especially considering the Disney x Epic Games tie-up.

Some fans pointed out the fact that Cerberus is available as a skin. And considering that Dante fought two of them in the Devil May Cry franchise, fans are also hoping for Dante or Virgil to make an appearance.

But every conversation was overshadowed by the question of the return of Kratos.

The iconic GoW franchise protagonist was first released as a skin back in 2020. The Gaming Legends Series outfit was available for purchase in the Item Shop for 1500 V-bucks, and the entire bundle was purchasable for 2200 V-bucks.

As part of the Oathbreaker Set, the Kratos skin was released in Chapter 2: Season 5. The hugely popular skin had an alternate version, Armored Kratos, that could be unlocked after playing a match with the skin.

The skin was last available for purchase on the in-game store on March 19th, 2021. With the new season being Greek mythology-themed, fans are quite obviously yearning for their favorite character to return.

While nothing is official as of yet as the developers continue to play their cards close to their chests, fan speculations are through the roof regarding what the next season will entail.
