Adding fuel to the fire, popular content creator and reliable Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, revealed some exciting details about the upcoming Midas update.

According to iFireMonkey, the much-anticipated Midas update is scheduled to be released on March 19th, hardly 48 hours away from the time of this article. It’s speculated that in addition to Midas, players might also be able to access the Hades mythic chain in the same update, another cool item to add to your account.

What to Expect in Fortnite’s “Rise of Midas” Update

Players can expect to encounter Golden Chickens, or “Gregs,” which lay golden eggs that grant gold. The update will also enable the Drum Gun and Boss Midas Drum Gun. The Chain of Hades item will be introduced, an effective counter for the Thunderbolt of Zeus.

For those looking for a change of pace, the exciting Floor is Lava Limited Time Mode (LTM) will be available, with guns enabled. Every chest drops legendary rarity weapons and consumables for an exhilarating gameplay experience. Players will also have access to the Banana of the Gods consumable.

The update will introduce Midas Vending Machines and Station Consoles, providing players with additional ways to acquire items and upgrades. You’ll have the opportunity to upgrade your weapons to legendary rarity using the Golden Weapon Upgrade Service for 500 Bars.
