Fortnite is one of the most successful games of all time, and Epic has earned it for constantly improving it and because of its collaborative nature. The title is similar to other shooters, with a few unique features like building and more on the horizon.
Ever since the developers allowed the players to use vehicles, it has ramped up and changed how players traverse the map. Some are even creative enough to use vehicles for a tactical advantage and potentially be used for more than just ramming opponents in the future.
Fortnite Vehicles Are About to Become Deadly
While there’s no confirmation, one player has shared their thoughts regarding the vehicles in the game and mentioned his dream of having weapon attachments on them. The vice president of Epic then reposted it with a smiling emoji, which could be a subtle hint that the developers have already thought about it and proven they’re a few steps ahead.

Perhaps this new feature will coincide with the rumored gameplay mechanic where players can hijack vehicles, which is inspired by the Mad Max films. This can elevate the experience and will allow the community to try new ways to get an edge against the competition.
The game has featured many concepts from other franchises, like the bending disciplines from Avatar: The Last Airbender. The fans of the animated series were pleased to see how well the developers integrated these abilities into mythic scrolls; however, there are some, like Doja Cat, who grew to hate these overpowered abilities.
If this idea ever comes to pass, it’d be wise for the developers to find a way to balance it to avoid players abusing it or exploiting it to the point where other players will be discouraged from playing.
Epic Games Knows How to Get Fortnite Players Excited
Recent leaks of the roadmap are suggesting that the developers are using nostalgia to keep the game afloat. Reusing previous ideas from older seasons seems to be the strategy of Epic Games, but the idea of manning modified vehicles with destructive capabilities is compensation for players.
The gaming community has already used the vehicles in unconventional ways, like ramming enemies until they are eliminated or even resorting to more desperate methods like igniting the engine to inflict burn status effects.
The inclusion of mounted weapons will open the door for more opportunities on how to eliminate hostile players with finesse. There is no guarantee whether this idea is true or when it will be seen in the game, but the developers are aware that it is among the top wishes of the community.
Modified vehicles could level out the playing field even more and draw the attention of more players. The addition of vehicles was never a dead end, and it is an opportune moment for Epic Games to take advantage of the idea and give the players an experience they will keep coming back to.
