Fortnite Festival has been a rather surprising addition to the Fortnite line-up, as it brought the familiar Guitar Hero-style gameplay that gamers have been begging for for years. However, this isn’t the only game that is bringing this familiar gameplay loop back into trend, as a new game on Steam has stepped up.

According to a recent post on Twitter/X, a new game will soon be coming to Steam, which is both a game and a learning tool for anyone who is looking to learn how to play the guitar or piano in a rather stylish and fun way.

The game in question that is coming soon is titled Rocksmith+, and currently, it doesn’t have a set release date. However, it is clear from the different media on its Steam page that it is a very in-depth game that can teach a lot of people how to play different instruments.

From what we can see, this game looks a lot more in-depth than games like Fortnite Festival, as it allows players to adapt to the difficulty of the song they are attempting to learn, allowing beginners to start simple and work their way up, while also providing professional musicians the opportunity to push their limits.

Players will also have a wide variety of options to choose from in terms of controllers, as they will be able to sync up their keyboard, piano, electric guitar, bass guitar, and acoustic guitar so that they can try out the different songs in unique ways.

This means that players can alter their experience as they see fit while also learning a completely new skill in the process, which is something that doesn’t come around very often these days.

Fortnite Festival Has a Lot to Learn From Rocksmith+

Even though Fortnite Festival is a fun project that allows gamers to enjoy a bit of rock and roll with some familiar features from the Guitar Hero franchise, it may not hold a candle to Rocksmith+ with its many different features and its potentially larger library of songs.

For now, Fortnite Festival does have a large amount of songs to play while also allowing players to bring in their different characters to play these songs, creating a rather interesting site as characters like Goku can be seen rocking out to songs from pop artists. However, this is something that Fortnite Festival has over Rocksmith+.

It seems the game will only feature a rather bothersome black star-filled void behind the gameplay in certain circumstances. Luckily, the gameplay loop fills in for the gap in the lack of visuals within Rocksmith+ and will likely cause players to give it a try over other games while also learning some new skills, at least until more songs come to Fortnite Festival, providing more musical fun.

What do you think about this upcoming game? Are you excited to learn how to play the guitar and piano? Let us know in the comments what you think!
