Fortnite and Billie Eilish Will Take the World by Storm
The young artist has made quite a name for herself, with countless awards and accolades from Grammy Awards, MTV Awards, and even the Academy Awards. She is not slowing down anytime soon and now has her sights set on the island of Epic Games’ most popular live service title.
The battle royale game is a prime target for leaks and the most recent one revealed the roadmap which will rely heavily on previous seasons, but this collaboration might be the saving grace. Recent leaks not only showed the artist’s in-game cosmetic item but also gameplay that resembles the fast-paced button mashing from Guitar Heroes.

The short clip reveals that several of the artist’s iconic songs will be used in a mini-game and players will have to match the beat and time button presses correctly. It may seem challenging at first, but anyone familiar with her songs will likely get in the groove and finish the mini-game with ease.
The similar gameplay to other popular music titles where players need to perfectly time their button presses might be a great change of pace from the traditional gunplay. It may be a creative space for new fun, but others may not be fans of this gameplay in a competitive game.
More Music Artists Could Later Appear in Fortnite
It is rare to see famous artists agree to not only feature their work in other projects like movies and video games but to allow the developers to use their likeness. Fellow artist, The Weeknd, also provided his likeness for a rare cosmetic item players can purchase. The influence of Eilish and her reach in the entertainment industry is far and wide and Epic Games realized it would be smart to join forces and take the whole industry in a massive frenzy. Players will soon be able to enjoy and jam to the beat of her popular songs along with their friends.
