Fortnite is getting more and more traction throughout the seasons because of its gameplay variety, skins, and collaborative nature but it isn’t the only Epic Games title to receive the same treatment because Avatar: The Last Airbender is also coming to Rocket League.
Originally developed and published by Psyonix until they were acquired by Epic Games, Rocket League is a soccer-like sports title that features adrenaline-rushing gameplay with the use of cars strapped to a rocket. It fits with the fast-paced and fluid style combat of The Last Airbender.
Fortnite X Avatar: The Last Airbender Is Coming
Collaboration is the driving force that bridges two franchises together and gives fans something to remember and enjoy. Early reports indicate that aspects from the beloved animated series are heading into Fortnite with potential quests relating to it and receiving cosmetic items inspired by the show will be used as rewards. It is exciting to see how Avatar: The Last Airbender will be creatively integrated into Rocket League.
Earlier reports from iFireMonkey, a user on X, shared that an upcoming crossover between Fortnite and Avatar will take place with details of quests and cosmetic rewards.

Given the popularity of the franchise, thanks to the brand-new live adaptation from Netflix, older fans who are into battle royale are in for a treat as they accomplish tasks and work their way to unlock Avatar Aang as a skin and a glider that is inspired from flying sky bison companion, Appa. Epic Games certainly knows how to utilize concepts that could fit into their games.
It is inevitable especially when the creators of the IP have established Avatar Studios as they continue to produce brand new stories in different formats like television and films, and fans are ecstatic that an upcoming 2025 animated film featuring the GAang in their early adult years, something that should have been explored since the conclusion of the original series.

While details are unknown, both Epic Games titles may host the collaborations around the same time. This could significantly boost player counts for both games and introduce players who are unfamiliar with the IP. Crossovers are a major win for everyone involved but mostly for the fans.
