Fortnite has been renowned for its creative gameplay, competitive nature, and fun combat. The saying that a sword is only as good as the man who wields it is prevalent in the live service game, but not always. The game has gone through countless changes and updates throughout the years and each time the developers always bring something new in terms of content. Some of these additions are well-received by fans while some wanted them erased from the face of the earth. Overpowered weapons and other weak items cause players to rage quit and lose their tactical advantage when they are in a sticky situation. Nobody wants to end a game with a loss and they could be discouraged from playing if these items continue to terrorize the playing field

The weapon at the moment that players want out is the weak hammer pump shotgun, a poor replacement for the pump shotgun, and the business turret is way too overpowered that it needs to business turret needs to go away.

Players love the game for a lot of reasons, the fun combat and the encouragement of creativity with the building mechanic, and the overall feel of the game is pure joy. Toxic members of the community, however, take advantage of specific items that take away the fun for others. The business turret seriously needs to be vaulted, players struggle to get away from its range, and is quite a nuisance if you’re on the other end.

The hammer pump shotgun, on the other hand, needs to leave the game entirely. The reload time is unrealistic and the damage it gives is a joke. An embarrassing addition that was meant to balance the gunplay aspect of the game.

Fortnite has been the stomping ground for competitive players since it launched, promoting critical thinking but all that could go to waste if you get one-shotted from a distance or melted by an overpowered SMG that needs to be nerfed. Epic needs to keep things in check to ensure a fair and toxic-free lobby.
