Fortnite has been one of the most popular games in the gaming industry. The third-person Battle Royale title began by focusing on the conventional experience popularized by titles like Z1 Battle Royale, among many others.

It has also entered the industry as a unique title because of brand collaborations. Something similar has happened as one of the biggest names in new-age metal, Avenged Sevenfold, has released an official map for the title.
Fortnite Gets a New Map Based on the Music Video for the Hit Metal Song “We Love You”‘
Fortnite collaborations are events that fans look forward to and provide the players with new content, such as skins and gliders in the game.
While Avenged Sevenfold didn’t have a collaboration in the form of an appearance at the Fortnite Festival, it still provided something memorable to its fans by launching a custom map and making the announcement on its official X page. The announcement said that it had released a custom map. It used the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, allowing it to create a custom free-for-all map inspired by its hit song.
The official announcement read:
Fortnite / UEFN is a platform that can be used by creators and artists to engage with their community in new and exciting ways. We have created a “free for all” style map based off of the music video for “We Love You.” We find this opportunity exciting and are happy to be one of the first musical acts to take advantage of this platform.
The band also communicated that it would release a social hub for its fans and deal with other games.
Whether new games will be created or collaborations will be announced isn’t clear from the announcement. The band also shared that its fans can use the band’s official Discord to play with other fans and host tournaments. Also, band members were present and playing on the map during the weekend.
To access the map and play on it, one has to follow the given steps:
- To find the map, go to Fortnite’s main page.
- Type in ‘Avenged’ or use code 8766-6365-6885 in the search bar.
- Ready up.
It is worth noting that the news of the band members enjoying the title on the map was probably enough for the band’s fans to gravitate toward it. Also, it may have been a virtual meet-and-greet session if one managed to play while even one of the members was playing. The news of the band’s collaboration with the hit Battle Royale title broke out in November 2023 as the band posted a video on its Twitter page, and fans had been waiting for the announcement since then.
Fortnite has become a platform that has been an inseparable part of gaming culture and pop culture. Everyone is seen going to the island, from celebrities to public figures, to earn a sweet Victory Royale. So much so that the title was released after PUBG Battlegrounds, but it still managed to beat it in terms of player count by quite a significant margin.
This is also because there isn’t any alternative to the title, and its anti-cheat makes cheating much tougher compared to PUBG, a title plagued with cheaters ruining the experience. The current Chapter 5 Season 1 ends on March 7, and March 8 marks the beginning of Season 2.
