Fans of the romance genre eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated From Me to You Season 3 can now rejoice. Netflix has officially announced the worldwide release of this long-awaited installment, scheduled for August 2024.
From Me to You is based on the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by the popular manga artist Karuho Shiina.
The original manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine from 2005 to 2017, spanning an impressive 123 chapters that were compiled into 30 tankōbon volumes.

Netflix has announced that the highly-anticipated third season will arrive globally in August 2024. After such an extensive hiatus, fans can at last continue this heartwarming romantic journey.
The creator, Karuho Shiina, expressed her excitement:
“I think everyone who enjoyed the anime back then will be very surprised by the re-animation after all this time. I was one of the people who enjoyed it at the time. I was very surprised and very, very happy. I went to see the dubbing, and Sawako is Sawako and Kazehaya is Kazehaya. I was so moved by the wonderful performances of the cast that I couldn’t believe it’s been over 10 years since the show was released. The pictures are also very cute! The way each episode comes together is amazing, so let’s enjoy together again!”
Shiina’s heartfelt words capture the nostalgia and joy that fans have been holding onto, awaiting this momentous return to the iconic romantic tale after more than a decade.

Sawako Kuronuma is the main character of the story. With her long black hair and pale complexion, her friends couldn’t help but nickname her “Sadako” – a playful nod to the ghostly character from the famous horror movie franchise, The Ring.
Despite her unassuming appearance, some might find a bit gloomy, Sawako’s life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Shota Kazehaya, the popular guy at school.
What begins as an unlikely friendship between the two slowly blossoms into a sweet, romantic relationship that becomes the central focus of the story.
