Gal Gadot is one of the most renowned actresses in Hollywood right now. The 38-year-old actress has mastered various characters with her acting skills in films like Fast & Furious and Wonder Woman. The Red Notice actress’ one of the biggest movies Wonder Woman 3, has been canceled by the makers due to reasons unknown.

Gal Gadot reveals her plans after the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3

In the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot made her debut as Wonder Woman. In 2017, the first Wonder Woman movie was released, and in 2020, Wonder Woman 1984 made its way to the theatres. It was revealed in December 2022 that Warner Bros have given up their plans to produce the third installment of the superhero series. This decision was announced right after James Gunn and Peter Safran were announced as the new head of the DCU.

During an interview, the 38-year-old actress talked about the kind of projects she would like to work on. After Wonder Woman 3 was canceled, Gadot shared her plans, the Fast Five actress said,

To me, starting and developing stories that I’m passionate about is an incredible thing. The fact that I don’t have to sit still at home and just wait for the next offer is something that makes me feel empowered. I enjoy doing it, it keeps me alive.”

She further added,

“I’m not only going to do my own projects. I’m going to work as an actress-for-hire still. But the fact that I can go ahead and tell the stories that I’m passionate about – from ideas that I conceived, or from ideas that I find fascinating from people that want to partner with us – it’s an incredible thing.”

Gadot also expressed her gratitude towards the people who have given her immense love as Wonder Woman. The actress stated that she is excited about her future projects and wants to share her next chapter with her fans.

Gal Gadot was tired of rejections before she landed the role of Wonder Woman

Gadot made her Hollywood debut with the Fast & Furious movie series, but Wonder Woman propelled her to stardom. When the Heart Of Stone actress made an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show, she spoke her heart out about how she was frustrated due to constant rejections before she was signed by Zack Synder. The actor claimed that she had become weary of doing consecutive auditions. Gadot said in her interview,

“I had so many almosts, and another camera test … and another role, and another role … and I was like, telling my husband, ‘I’m not sure how long I can take it, dragging my family to Los Angeles, doing this.”

Gadot admitted that she had considered giving up acting at one time. The actress from Death on the Nile admitted she didn’t know about the character she was going to be playing during her Wonder Woman audition.
