Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 has been a tremendous success, and Xbox players have been begging to get the game on Microsoft’s console, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. While players hope for the title’s release on Xbox, a somewhat similar experience is joining Game Pass.

Microsoft has announced the second wave of titles coming to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service across consoles and PC. The game list features one title that its developer has been teasing a crossover with, and it will be available to Game Pass Core members later this month.

Game Pass Core members will get three games added to the library on April 23rd, and they are Superhot: Mind Control Delete from SUPERHOT Team, Bugbear Entertainment and THQ Nordic’s Wreckfest, and Ghost Ship Games’ Deep Rock Galactic. Players have been making comparisons between Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers 2 ever since Arrowhead’s title launched.

Deep Rock Galactic is also a 1-to-4-player co-op shooter title where players play as space dwarves and has received mostly positive reviews. The game was fully launched in 2020 after nearly two years of early access and features 100% destructible environments, procedurally generated caves, high-tech weapons, unique character classes, and alien monsters that players go against.

The developers at Ghost Ship Games even streamed them playing Helldivers 2 and revealed that they have sent an email to Arrowhead inquiring about a possible collaboration, and the stream is just another shot at achieving that aim. Moreover, a tweet was put out by Arrowhead on the official Helldivers 2 X/Twitter handle, asking about “Karl,” and players think it was a crossover tease.

Although nothing can be said for certain as of now about a crossover, Xbox players will be happy to see that they will be able to experience the space wars until there is any news of them getting to play Helldivers 2, which is pretty unlikely, at least for a long while.

SUPERHOT Team’s Superhot: Mind Control Delete and Bugbear Entertainment’s Wreckfest will also join the Game Pass Core library on the same day as Deep Rock Galactic. Superhot: Mind Control Delete is an FPS title and sequel to its predecessor, Superhot.

The game has been praised for its gameplay mechanics and roguelike elements. Mind Control Delete features multi-level stages and several new enemies to take on. The game has a confusing but captivating story, and the trippy slow-motion action makes one feel like they are in control.

Wreckfest is a demolition derby-themed racing game developed by Bugbear Entertainment and offers unique racing action. The game features both traditional racing and demolition derbies, amazing cars from old to new, customization like no other game, body armor to high-speed rockets, and more.
