This involves discussing events in the games or proposing hypothetical fantasy battles. Some of them also involve characters from other series, and recently, in an epic hypothetical crossover, a fan raised an exciting question.
Deep Rock Galactic Meets Gears of War in an Epic Fan-Proposed Collaboration
The Gears of War subreddit seemingly never runs short on topics to discuss. Even in the past, the subreddit has been the melting pot of various perspectives and opinions on various topics surrounding the game.
One of the most exciting questions raised in the room was how Minh’s death in the original game differed from his demise in Ultimate Edition.
Sometimes players also go one step further with their imagination; in this case, a fan asked what would happen to Locusts from the third-person video game series if they were to exist in the world of Deep Rock Galactic, a co-op multiplayer game.

While there isn’t a lot of hope for two of these franchises to ever come together officially, the only possible thing is for modders to come to the rescue.
Only Modders Can Make Dwarves Versus Locusts a Possibility
Deep Rock Galactic, while being a cooperative multiplayer title, supports modding. And modders have always added something to the game’s content. At the same time, this hasn’t been the only hypothetical battle proposed on Xbox’s third-person shooter’s subreddit.
Some others, like a Deathwatch Kill Team going against an army of Locusts, have also been brought up in the past. And that is once again a question to which only dedicated modders can provide an answer.
However, it is fascinating to see fans of a video game series proposing collaborations of such epic proportions. Indubitably, if they were ever to be materialized, fans would undoubtedly go gaga.
