However, they might have taken this hatred towards Gojo to the next level this time.
The spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261 have recently surfaced on the internet, and while they reveal some pretty intriguing plot points, they also shine a light on Akutami’s new way of expressing hatred towards Gojo. According to the spoilers, Gojo might just be a weapon for the Jujutsu world, and his humanity has no importance.
This proves that Akutami only saw Gojo as a tool used by the Jujutsu Kaisen world to permanently eliminate the King of Curses, and his other contributions to society as a teacher or as a friend were all just insignificant narratives to keep the Jujutsu Kaisen story interesting.
Gojo Satoru’s Return in Jujutsu Kaisen Takes a Dark Turn
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261’s spoilers have recently been shared on X(Formerly Twitter), and they have brought back Gojo Satoru’s physical form, which is being controlled by Yuta Okkotsu. The spoilers revealed that Rika consumed Kenjaku, which allowed Yuta to use his cursed technique and switch his body with Gojo’s.
This might be a new twist in the story, but according to the spoilers, this was a planned move by Yuta, and everyone knew about it, even Gojo. When Yuta suggested this idea to Gojo, he stated that he doesn’t plan on losing against Sukuna, and if he gets defeated, he doesn’t care what happens to his body.
While Gojo’s “return” is exciting for fans, the motive behind it makes it pretty sad and grim. The sorcerers planned to use Gojo’s abilities to the last extent. Even after his death, his body is being used as a last resort against the King of Curses, thus proving that he is nothing more than a weapon.
The Strongest Ability of Gojo Satoru
Gojo Satoru is arguably the best-written character in the entire Jujutsu Kaisen series. The character is filled with traits like unlimited potential, humanity, intelligence, etc. Still, Gege Akutami does not like their own creation. But even for Akutami, reducing his value from the most powerful sorcerer to merely a weapon is a new low.
Despite his immense strength and unlimited cursed energy and techniques, the strongest part of Gojo Satoru was his humanity. His humanity was the sole reason why he chose not to reach his greatest potential, and Akutami stole the very essence of humanity from him. He is reduced to a weapon whose purpose is to defeat Sukuna.
However, looking at the condition of Jujutsu sorcerers, this might be the only way for them to defeat the King of Curses, as the strongest opponent he fought was Gojo Satoru. Also, Yuta using Gojo’s body makes it a little less depressing, as he was not only a relative of Gojo but also one of his best students.
