After weeks of battle and struggle, players in Helldivers 2 have finally been able to push back the Automatons from Malevelon Creek and liberate it. The fight is still on, and players think that a new and more dangerous threat, the Illuminate faction, is coming soon, and they need to be ready.

One player has now decided to get on top of it by turning all the players into muscular Helldivers with a Helldivers-only exercise program that would be beneficial for them in any unfortunate situations that might arise in future battles across the galaxy.

A Helldivers 2 player took to the r/Helldivers subreddit and shared a post titled “Get Fit for Democracy,” with an exercise program exclusively for Helldivers. This is to get players in shape for their next battle, which may happen to some unlucky players.

The exercise program features a total of eight exercises, and the last is truly thrilling. The exercises are push-ups, squats, cross-punch situps, leg raises, tricep dips, jumping lunges, bicycle crunches, and euthanasia coasters.

As per the program, players will need to do twenty push-ups if the game crashes or infinitely loads, ten squats if they die from burning, and twenty cross-punch situps if they are kicked out of the game for some reason. Moreover, players have to do ten leg raises if they die from a friendly stratagem and twenty tricep dips if they die from their own stratagem.

The program also includes ten jumping lunges if they fail to extract and ten bicycle crunches if they get less than five stars. The last piece of the program is not that good, honestly, as no one wants to fail a mission, but players have said that the last bit is “kill yourself, but legally.” For those unaware, the euthanasia coaster is a hypothetical way to kill oneself.

Helldivers Are Excited to Try out the Exercise Program

Players have excitedly replied to the post, saying that they will be going to try this out, with one Helldivers 2 fan saying, “I’m going to try this. FOR DEMOCRACY.” Another fan praised the player’s idea for the exercise program, saying that they “unironically” started doing this a few weeks ago and have been doing exercises after every couple of matches, and it helps.

One player compared this exercise program to the Star Citizen workout program and said that this is “significantly more unforgiving,” given that the last workout is slowly cutting off blood supply to one’s brain until you die. Another player added that they have been doing squats since the “latest update.”

While it is a good idea to get in shape and remain active when players spend hours fighting for democracy, it is advised they do not start since Helldivers 2 players have been experiencing crashes and other issues that may result in them doing push-ups for most of their session and wait until there is a fix from Arrowhead.
