A post shared on the subreddit, r/GamingLeaksAndRumours by Redditor KekanKoK, reveals that a few players have found dialogue files of popular Scream antagonist Ghostface who has exchanged dialogues with Takeda and Omni-Man. While it was anticipated that the Kombat Pack would have superheroes, it seems like the developers aren’t just eyeing that.

According to the Reddit post, data miners Interloko and Ghostface_4_MK1 shared some screenshots of dialogue files on X that seem to hint at the arrival of Ghostface as part of the Kombat Pack in Mortal Kombat 1. This shouldn’t come as a surprise since the character has graced several games with its presence such as Dead by Daylight and Call of Duty.

While characters such as Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker have been confirmed for the Mortal Pack, Harley Quinn and Doomslayer are also rumored to feature as guest fighters in Mortal Kombat 1. There were also leaks that Megan Fox would appear as a fighter but that was put to rest after it was confirmed that the actress is voicing Vampire Nitara. It is, however, not yet certain if players will get to see Ghostface in the game or not.
