Goku has come a long way, and his journey has been astonishing; however, it is crucial to remember how it was in the beginning. Despite how powerful Goku is right now, he was considerably weaker at the start of Dragon Ball Z. His powers were so low that to kill his older brother Raditz, he sacrificed himself, but to this day, fans wonder why he does not show even a slight glimpse of regret.

Has Goku ever shown regret for killing his older brother Raditz?

Since the beginning, Goku has been a simple character; he bears no ill for others and has a very likable personality overall. But it is interesting to see that despite him giving a second chance to Vegeta, who was out for blood, he did not see any merit in reviving his older brother.

When Raditz first visited Goku, he was way too powerful for him and Piccolo, who barely won the fight. Given the potential of the Saiyan race, if they had at some point revived Raditz, the story could be a lot different.

Goku believes in giving everyone a second chance; we have seen it several times, such as during Vegeta and Buu, but he was never able to revive his older brother or more like, he never wanted him back.

Throughout Dragon Ball, several characters have been brought back to life, but Goku never even thought of or recommended his older brother, which is a mystery to fans. If Raditz was bought back, Goku and Raditz could have been the most lethal duo in the universe.

Why did it turn out to be a mistake not to revive Raditz?

The Dragon Ball series has powerful characters, and reaching the power level Goku currently possesses took extraordinary time and effort. He has gone through several death battles and faced many defeats.

If he had Raditz by his side, he could have learned several things from his older brother, who was extremely powerful and, over time, would have become even more vital.

The two brothers and the prince of Saiyan could have become a force to be reckoned with and possibly the strongest mortals in the universe.

Although Goku managed to reach the top, his journey would have been a lot simpler and easier if he had some experienced war veterans like Raditz.
