Loki Writer Eric Martin Shares Update on Any Possibility of Season 3

Loki season 2 showrunner and head writer Eric Martin in an interview with Cinema Blend hints at the finish line of the story. As some viewers were wondering what could happen next if any more seasons Martin dropped a clue on it.

We approached this as like two halves of a book,” he commented.

Season one, first half. Season two, we close the book on Loki and the TVA. Where it goes beyond that, I don’t know. I just wanted to tell a full and complete story across those two seasons.”

Producer Kevin Wright earlier explained the future of the series while speaking with Deadline:

We take it season by season, and there are certainly things that Tom and I and other casts have talked about of where we see this going, and I know there’s some excitement for that internally, but just from a storytelling standpoint, I think we always conceived of seasons one and two as a whole.”

Wright caveated:

That these are two chapters of the same book, and that season two is finishing that book, and there are other stories to be told there, but I think they would be new books, if that’s not too coy.”

It’s almost certain they have no plans beyond the second season. But it’s not the end of Loki though.
