Previously forgetting how she had a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, alongside Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow mentioned her Iron Man co-star could help her relaunch her acting career.
Gwyneth Paltrow Forgot Being In Spider-Man: Homecoming
Being in several MCU movies, since her appearance as Pepper Potts in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man (2008) alongside Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow has secured her position in the entertainment industry. However, due to her long list of movies under MCU, the actress once went oblivious to her appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
During the debut episode of The Chef Show on Netflix, Gwyneth Paltrow was speaking with Jon Favreau about the origin of the show and was suddenly shocked to know that she was in a Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland. Favreau told Paltrow how the idea for his chef show originated on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the actress was shocked to know that she was on set as well.
“We were in Spider-Man together. Remember we were on Spider-Man?” Jon Favreau asked.
“We weren’t in Spider-Man…No, I was in Avengers” Paltrow claimed.
“Remember Spider-Man at the end, and Tom Holland’s there and you gotta walk out of the press conference? That was Spider-Man.” Favreau explained.
Recalling the whole thing afterward, Gwyneth Paltrow was surprised to be in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Well, MCU actors often forget about their appearances, especially since they are often lied to about their projects. But now, years later, although Paltrow forgot her scene in the Spider-Man movie alongside Robert Downey Jr., she is hoping to make a Hollywood comeback.
Robert Downey Jr. Could Help Relaunch Gwyneth Paltrow’s Career

“Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job. But, I guess Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back. You know, to some degree.”
