While Gwyneth Paltrow might be one of the more popular actors to star in the MCU, who rose to prominence in the mid-90s, the Seven Star’s personal life remains untouched by her stardom. Paltrow, who shares two children, Moses and Apple, with ex-husband Chris Martin, has mostly kept her private life away from the media, even restricting her kids to use social media.

During her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that her kids didn’t find her as cool as she thought. While the Oscar-winning star has accomplished several impressive feats throughout her career, she recounted that during a holiday, her kids didn’t want to be with her and left her alone on a sidewalk. She jokingly recalled,

“Well, I thought they thought I was cool until we were just on Holiday and my son asked me not to walk near him on the sidewalk, which felt great. And my daughter was like, ‘Bye Mom, we’re going to brunch without you, bye’ and I was like, ‘You realize I’m here alone like if you guys go’. They’re like, ‘We’re fine we’re going by ourselves’.”

She further recounted asking Moses, who wasn’t keen on walking next to her, “You know like I’m like in movies and stuff”, to which her son responded, “Exactly”.
