The Marvel Cinematic Universe or the MCU is only getting bigger by the day. With some of the most incredible storylines and characters, the franchise has become home to several talented actors and actresses, bringing to life countless fan-favorite superheroes. Yet as the franchise goes on, it continues to recruit new talent that we might not have seen before or ones that we have already witnessed the magic of.
While many actors who become part of the franchise have ties with other major franchises or fandoms, including the DC verse, the Harry Potter universe hasn’t fished out as many actors as one would have thought. And if the recent rumors are true, one major actor from the franchise has already filmed her MCU debut role.
Harry Potter Star Set to Make Her Debut in the MCU
The Harry Potter franchise, including its Fantastic Beasts prequel series, has starred several of the most wonderful and talented actors of all time. While many of its actors have gone on to become part of huge franchises like the DC verse, it hasn’t had as many inclusions in the MCU.
Yet as per scooper Daniel Richtman, Harry Potter star Natalia Tena has reportedly joined the Marvel-verse in a yet-to-be-revealed role and has already filmed her scenes for an upcoming project. Tena, who has also been part of The Game of Thrones and appeared in a small role in The Mandalorian, starred as the famous auror Nymphadora Tonks in the magical fantasy based-on-a-novel franchise.
While the details of her MCU casting haven’t been revealed yet, it might be any one of the upcoming projects releasing later this year or the next: Deadpool 3, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, Ironheart, Agatha, Daredevil: Born Again or Wonder Man.
Although casting for Deadpool 3 and Agatha has already been revealed and Thunderbolts seems too early, many fans reckon it might be for one or the other project in a potentially small role. Yet after Karan Soni revealed to Variety that Deadpool & Wolverine teased that there are going to be numerous surprises and cameos, Tena might also appear in the movie.

From John Wick to Shameless, the Harry Potter star Natalia Tena is a fan-favorite. After the rumors of her potential MCU casting went viral on the internet, fans expressed their excitement over the news and have been eagerly waiting to see which character, either a hero or a villain, will she portray.

With the MCU constantly expanding and introducing new characters, fans can’t wait to see how Tena’s character fits into the larger Marvel universe and what kind of impact she will have on future storylines. Although most reckon her to be an alternate reality Deadpool, we know whatever role she has been cast in, Tena will truly ace it!
While the MCU movies and series can be streamed on Disney+, the Harry Potter saga can be streamed on Peacock.
